Building Schools for the Future

Make your views known before Tuesday 2 March.  We would encourage parents to express their views on these options: what you have to say is most important. The benefit of £80 million BSF funding to our young people is self evident. It is therefore imperative that all interested parties register their interest in and support for the opportunities offered by BSF, by:

* returning your Consultation Response Form contained within the LCC Transforming Learning consultation booklet;

* writing to Loughborough BSF Consultation Stage 2, Have Your Say, FREEPOST,  Nat 18685, Leicester, LE3 8XR;  or

* responding on  line at www.leics.gov.uk/loughboroughbsf

Our vision is that learning and the learner should be at the centre of all school endeavour.  We strive to ensure team commitment from pupils, parents, governors and all staff to a vision that has high expectations of what the individual can achieve, values learning and determines that we can develop positive, constructive relationships based on mutual respect.

As an 11 to 14, mixed gender, Community School we believe learning is of primary importance and should be challenging and enjoyable. We are a stepping stone for pupils, guiding them to the next stage of their education and eventually to the world of employment.  Through commitment, praise, support and trust we encourage our pupils to attain their maximum levels of achievement.

Interactive English class in the Arts TheatreWe are a school of opportunity, challenge and vision, fully committed to preparing our pupils for life in the twenty-first century. If you are considering sending your child here, we would be delighted to hear from you and would welcome the chance to meet with you and show you how we work with you and your child to realise their true potential.

Adverse weather conditions

Should we experience adverse weather conditions when we return in the New Year or when circumstances beyond our control dictate the closure of the school, we will use the school website and BBC radio Leicester (and their website) to keep you informed.  In the event of school closure information will be posted regularly on this home page and in the red banner bar at the top of this page.
